Fun fine motor activity for preschoolers

Materials:

• cardboard

• permanent markers

• hole punch

• yarn

• painters tape

• box cutter

How To:

1. cut out a piece of cardboard

2. draw a fire hydrant on the left side and a fire on the right side

3. punch holes from the fire hydrant to the fire

4. tie a knot in the yarn in the first hole by the fire hydrant

5. wrap painters tape around the other end of the yarn

6. have your child put out the fire by lacing the yarn through each hole until they get to the fire
