All Teaching Tots Things activities require adult supervision

A St. Patrick's twist and learning activity.

I love @pbskids and luckily so do the kids. One of their favorite shows is Wild Kratts (@wildkrattstv). If your child loves learning about different animals this is definitely the show to check out even Tygh and I don't hate it.

We were learning about camouflage in a particular episode so I created a quick extension activity to go with it.

𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐:

1️⃣Draw a scene (I choose quick rainbow stripes) using paint sticks

2️⃣Have your child punch out hole (or any type of white animal/ shape)

3️⃣Have them glue it on the paper to "camouflage the creature"

*I decided to tell Briella the circles were Leprechaun coins and she had to hide them in his rainbow so no one can find them.

🗣Why do animals use camouflage?

🗣What might animals use instead of camouflage?

🗣If you could be any animal for a day what animal would you be?
